Drop Spindle Spinning (3 hours)

This friendly group workshop will teach you how to spin yarn using a drop spindle!

You'll use a hand made wooden top whorl drop spindle to spin wool fibre into a single ply yarn using an age old traditional spinning method that has been around for 1000's of years! You'll be able to take your yarn home with you. Drop spindles and kits are available to buy on the day if you wish.

Limited availability to ensure all pupils get enough attention from the tutor. Dates as shown or contact us for something different.

• Experience level: Beginner (no experience required)
